Eve M Riley

Scottish-based author Eve Riley was born in Dunfermline, a small picturesque town in Fife. After graduating with a degree in Mathematics, she worked in advertising agencies for ten years before setting up her own market research company, which she ran successfully for twenty years. She then began working with technology startups, which spawned the ideas for The Refusal. Over the last eight years she has been pursuing her childhood dream of writing.

Her romance series The Techboys Series revolves around three young men, Janus, Fabian, and Adam, who by chance sit next to each other in their first computer science lecture at college. Their contrasting personalities result in them helping each other out, and, as they rescue one another from various scrapes, a deep bond develops. The books meet them years later in New York City as they struggle to get their lives on track.

Eve lives in Edinburgh with her husband and has two grown-up children. Janus and Jo’s story, The Refusal, is the first novel in The Techboys Series, and will be followed by a further seven novels exploring Fabian and Kate’s, Liss’s and Adam’s unfolding stories.
